Hmhm.

I've known for a long time that my painting skills and my "color-knowledge" are pretty much non existent (not to mention my drawing, but that'd be a whole new post), but in the last few days that fact has been hitting me in the face every single second. Seriously, all-the-time. Needless to say I've been super depressed and with mushrooms growing from my ears (now that's a pretty image), so I thought I should go back to the basics - really basics - and start off by using some photos as a reference and classic paintings as well.

Did this one in about 10 minutes (because I'm really slow and rusty), and used a picture of Yu Aoi - who's so beautiful, by the way - from the Honey and Clover Live action movie as a reference.

Just hope this kind of exercise turns out to be helpful. I really need to see some results here... my work has been frozen for about a year. Nothing new, nothing good. Pft.

Blue blue blue.

Looks like all I post nowadays are random videos and photos. This one's really something though. Makes you think about all the good things out there...hmhm. Fullscreen highly recommended :)

Inspirations?

After years and years I just realized how good this song is. I'm such a slow person. Pft.

Also, I've been having the most horrible and longest art block ever, so I could use some inspirations. Keeping an image bookmarking account does help, but if anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to share.

Updating~

Forget everything I said about trying to keep this place alive. All lies.
Anyway, Ella left yesterday (sorry about all the boredoooom) and I thought that the pictures we took would be a great excuse for me to post something. Unfortunately her camera went kappouf and is nowhere to be found - which is really uncomfortable...I swear I didn't steal it lol.
Also, we met Sofia (www.a-xofia.deviantart.com) last tuesday and went out for a walk in Lisbon. And even though I've been to the aquarium a bunch of times before, it never ceases to amaze me. I should have been born a fish. Yup.

These ones were pretty photogenic.

And this one was pretty creepy.

Last one: a really cuuute seahorse.

Art post coming up soon. Hopefully.
